Stuff Got Printed!! | Week 10

This is probably the most exciting update! My raccoon has finally entered the physical world. The print looks amazing and I’m super happy with how it turned out. Resin printing was definitely the best choice for the amount of detail I was looking for. The scale is a bit bigger than I wanted, but I’m not too worried about it. Keychains can be big too!

I tried to take pictures of the process. Once printed by Peter, I came in and took off the supports. It was then washed and cured. These guys still need some sanding, but overall I’m super pleased with how it turned out.

Last week I also bought some beads, simple ones and ones that are fun shapes. I also got eye screws and keychain parts. This week I’m going to focus on painting and assembling my keychain.

I think now the last few things I need is primer for my figures. I’m going to research what paints will stick the best, and find a sealant that will make them bump proof. It’s really nice to see this project move along so smoothly! Hopefully next week I’ll be all done.
